Welcome to the Neuropunk Collective
Exploring a world beyond the medical model where neurodivergence can thrive
My name is Ana Maria B. Call, and I'm a 3E (gifted + autistic + Latina) interculturalist, linguist, and former civil rights worker.
You’ve arrived at the home of my creative and cultural work. I create tools, frameworks, and imaginative experiences that help people reframe neurodivergence as culture—not disorder.
My work explores how communication can become a site of collaboration, creativity, and mutual safety. This space is a growing archive of that work.
What is 'Neuropunk'?
Neuropunk is a speculative genre and imagination practice that reclaims neurodivergence as a culture, not a deficit. Like solarpunk or other punk genres, it uses creative worldbuilding to challenge dominant systems—in this case, the neurotypical, medicalized, and ethnocentric norms that govern communication, care, and understanding.
Neuropunk envisions futures shaped by neurodivergent wisdom, where communication is intercultural, not pathological, and where mutual care, sensory richness, and inner wildness are honored as essential to thriving. It’s a form of radical groundedness, countercultural harm-reduction, and visionary leadership, rooted in possibility, connection, and deep respect for difference.
